李铁，字咏锡，笔名宝罗，1972年生，北京市人。文化学者、图书策划人。曾供职于新华通讯社、中国外文局、中华网等单位，主持策划并编辑出版“太古足音”丛书、“神秘中国”丛书、“汗血马”丛书、“外国人在中国”丛书等多部人文历史图书。2000年参与策划并编写的《中国企业电子商务指南》，被信息产业部列为全国信息化教材之一。2009年撰写的《挎包里的中国》，从人们生活中“包”的变化这一独特视角，介绍中国改革开放30年间的巨大成就，以中、英、法、西4种文字出版，全球发行。

　　“养老”话题是中国故事里不可或缺的一部分。中国已进入老龄化社会，养老制度改革和养老院试点项目成为每年政府工作的重点之一。《“我”的养老院（英）》运用大量的数据和一线考察的客观成果，系统的讲述中国养老制度的现状，并以访谈的形式，真实记录试点养老院发展的利与弊。作者是中国养老制度的观察者，也是研究者，并多次探访海外养老院项目，能够在客观的分析中，适当的阐述自己的观点，为当下的养老制度提出思考和建议。
